Churiosity

Published by

on

You are sweet like simple syrup,
your kindness elicits flutters in our hearts.
You powder the world with joy,
I wish we were never apart.
But I know you’ll always be there, to bring
thought provoking discourse to life.
You are number one on my speed dial,
always around to alleviate strife.
With strong ridges and rich heritage,
we envy your unique spice.
So go out there, conquer the world,
odds are in your favor, roll the dice.

Notes

Today’s prompt is to write a poem that anthropomorphizes a type of food. Can you imagine if a churro was human?
