Today’s prompt was to write something based off an obscure word from Haggard Hawks Twitter. I chose to write a poem inspired by “Horse-ma-gog” which means a large, coarse person who is annoyingly boisterous. Free versed it –

Ruffled around the edges
With so much a lick of pompous
She is the archetype of a horse-ma-gog
Not quite in physique, but in spirit
Interjecting in the tête-à-tête
Supplying the fruitful grandiloquence
A conformist within each circle
Always with a hint of cajolery
And such, failing to build genuine bonds
Alas, she is my friend
